About Us
Plastic is a valuable resource in its entirety. Most people, however, lack the resources to process it further, so its versatility is lost and the excess fills our landfills and oceans. Brought to our attention is a DIY initiative that aims to equip anyone in the world to transform plastic waste into valuables.
Using the blueprints and plans created by Dave Hakken, we as students are putting our own spin on the design. With the help of the Schulich School of Engineering, we are working towards creating a customized plastic processing space on the University of Calgary campus.
